Motion Designer
Our mission is to entertain through creativity. The first step is to build the best motion graphics editor, from the fround up. It is real-time 3D, module based, and projects are just code. We are at the very early days, yet well funded and gaining tones of traction.
The role
I am looking for a motion designer who wants to help shape mo1 from the inside. A creative with taste that can ship for emotion and with an obsession with impact. From understanding why a video leaves a memory in people's mind, to being able to create motion graphics videos with perfect timing and rhythm.
What you'll do
- Make motion graphics projects in mo1. For example: launch reels, product explainers, or recreating a reference from After Effects or social media.
- Help us improve the product through use. For example: finding where mo1 feels confusing, slow or limited and proposing better UI flows.
- Create content for the app. For example: built-in modules, templates, examples, and presets.
- Test before users do. For example: trying new features early, publishing experiments, and learning from the reaction.
- Help users use the tool. For example: giving suppor through slack, discord, or calls.
You might be a good fit if
Professional experience does not matter as much as strong taste in motion, rhythm, composition, and timing. Plus curiosity about creative tools, frustration with existing motion software, and the ability to explain why something feels good or bad and get things done without being precious about work that gets changed or deleted.
Bonus points
Bonus if you have experience with:
- After Effects, Blender, C4D, or others.
- Made videos with millions of views on social media.
- Tutorials, educational content, or selling templates and presets
- Creative coding, AI-assisted workflows
